Clinical application of bladder scanner for the determination of post-void residual (PVR) and bladder volume in rehabilitation center
2023-08-18 08:54Clinical significance: Provide bladder volume parameters before intermittent catheterization for neurogenic bladder and other diseases and provide post-void residual (PVR) data for post-rehabilitation evaluation.
1.To detect post-void residual (PVR) in patients with voiding dysfunction caused by neurogenic bladder caused by various diseases.
2.Provide bladder volume for patients with neurogenic bladder who need intermittent catheterization, and monitor whether the bladder volume meets the catheterization standard or exceeds the safe capacity.
3.According to the post-void residual (PVR) provided by bladder volume scanner, the bladder volume during catheterization and the safe bladder volume after urodynamic examination, the individualized water drinking plan for patients with intermittent catheterization should be improved. (That is, formulate a water drinking plan for each individual patient through the bladder scanner to ensure the therapeutic effect of intermittent catheterization).
4. By monitoring the post-void residual (PVR) of patients with neurogenic bladder, verify the therapeutic effects of relative instruments after rehabilitation training, intermittent catheterization and treatment of neurogenic bladder, etc.
